Not a traditional monster, and certainly not one I’d consider if somebody asked me to name a monster beginning with B, I’ve opted for Babadook for this next watercolour practise.
This painting was fairly simple as it only required two colours. I did the background in sepia, and the only other paint I needed was ivory black. Both got mixed down to different degrees, but I was happy with the shades that I managed to get from them.
The painting sits in my watercolour sketchbook, it’s 13cm by 21cm. It certainly was a fun addition to the A-Z of monster I’m using as a theme to practise learning watercolours.
Come back soon and see what gets created for C.
Thanks for reading this and hope you come back soon. X
